Hi, I'm Olivér

I'm a full-stack web developer based in Hungary, with a strong pull toward frontend architecture, product-driven engineering, and the kind of details that make an interface genuinely good to use. I started writing code at 12.

My skill set focuses on React, TypeScript, and Node.js. I work regularly with Next.js for full-stack applications, Express and NestJS on the backend, and I'm comfortable moving across the entire JavaScript ecosystem. Whether it's a clean component API, a robust Backend service, or a well-structured database schema - I care about every layer.

What I Actually Do

I build web applications that are fast, scalable, and built to last. But beyond writing code, I think in terms of user journeys and interaction design. Good UI is not just about making things look nice - it's about reducing friction, communicating clearly, and making the right action obvious. I bring UI/UX sensibilities into engineering decisions, not just into design files.

I also have solid experience working directly with clients, translating business requirements into technical decisions that actually make sense. Project management, scope alignment, and clear communication are part of how I work - not afterthoughts.

I'm a World & European Champion

I'm a WorldSkills and EuroSkills champion in web development - two of the most competitive vocational skills competitions in the world. These weren't just about speed or output. They tested architecture decisions, accessibility, cross-browser behavior, and the ability to build production-quality interfaces under real pressure. Winning at both confirmed something I already believed: that disciplined, detail-oriented engineering matters.
